Paul’s career in interactive/generative art began during his time studying Sound Design at Michigan Technological University. During a residency by composer John Luther Adams, Paul and three other students were tasked with creating an interactive piece sonifying the Wolf-Moose study on Michigan’s Isle Royal, blending science and art, and has been infatuated with the medium ever since.
While pursuing a career in software development, Paul continued to collaborate and produce interactive pieces for festivals such as True/False and collaborated with the team at WNDR museum. Now, as the Technical Director at WNDR Paul is able to constantly blend his curiosity of all things technical with his passion for visuals and sound.
